Inside details about RED FORT

While entering the Red fort there is a front entrance door situated at the southern side of the wall which is called Delhi gate and it is a named after the city which is called Delhi city. This door is constructed at the time of Shah Jahan emperor time and outer wall or defense wall is constructed by his son Aurangzeb which is also a successor of Shah Jahan.

Now there comes the Lahore Gate which is especially a main entrance for visiting people and public tourists and the Delhi Gate is used as a parking area and some VIP entrances as it’s the main place the where the prime minister of india host a flag on the day of independence day and Lahore Gate named on city of Lahore because when entering the gate faces towards the Lahore district or area and named as Lahore Gate while entering the gate there is short bazzar type of area called Meena Bazzar, which is maded by Shah Jahan for their queens and it’s for only females and the market Includes the stones, gewels,Gold coin, necklaces, velvets and many more items.

After the Meena Bazzar the entry gate to the mahal or fort is named as Naubat khana also called drum house which is named because when a emperor entering through this the darbaar guards beats the drum with sticks and says “ badshah salamat hoshiyaar” like that and the emperor or king enters the fort.

After entering to fort there is place ora big ground named as Diwan-i - aam as this type because every day there people from other areas to him for solution to all their problems it like a Darbaar or more likely to be said is court.

Now, next move on to the next places or next architecture which is very special one and it’s named as Rang Mahal, or it is named as hall if entertainment because the badshah Shah Jahan entertains it’s shahi guest by presenting a shahi dance by dance girls with a drink thats why it is named as Rang Mahal, and most importantly in the ceiling of Rang Mahal there are small diamond and gold and silver and many valuable items are picked in the wall and will it’s like a miracle of Red fort for getting to know about rang mahal.

After passing on to next there is mahal placed in the side of Rang Mahal it’s basically a private place for

emperors they used to sit there and has a almirah of clothes and a sleeping and living room and a room

for doing private prayers offerings basically it’s a residence of the current or ruling emperor made only

for ruling emperor or king.

After next, Diwan-i- khas is the place or should I more likely to say a parliamentary area because of its name of states that badshah meets only with VIPs or ministers or for private important people and ordinary people are not allowed in this area.

Now, move on to the next place which is called Shahi Hammam, it is the basically the ruling emperors bath room and at that time the Hammam name soap also comes which comes from persion word and from there this place named as shahi hammam and water for used in this place comes from Yamuna river.

Now in the west side of shahi hammam there is mahal named as Moti Masjid made by Aurangzeb after Shah Jahan death Aurangzeb is the ruling king( Raja ka beta Raja bana) and it is made for doing Namaz but official at the time of Shah Jahan he goes to jama masjid for Namaz offering.

The Red fort is way to much big to interact with every architecture it takes too much time and but in this I have covers the all important mahals which you want to see it definitely.
